An Enriched Life
Jesus came to give us, not just a mediocre life, but ABUNDANT LIFE! A life of JOY and PEACE! He has shown us how to truly live a life of LOVE. His LIGHT still shines into our world, giving us our only real source of TRUTH. HIS WORDS have been preserved for us in the Bible, our guidebook for living.
A Clean Slate
Jesus offers us the gift of FRIENDSHIP, which He demonstrated in the ultimate sacrifice – laying down HIS LIFE for us. He did this to restore our relationship with His Father, paying for all our sins with His blood. This is the only way to have God’s complete FORGIVENESS. In addition, Jesus’ blood offers a CLEANSING from the effects of sin in our lives and elevates us to a position of RIGHTEOUSNESS before God. He provides not only spiritual and physical HEALING, but also a sense of inner FREEDOM that can never be taken from us.
An Enduring Life
In our struggles and hardships, Jesus offers us REST. He promises to be our STRENGTH. He enriches us with spiritual BREAD for our souls and LIVING WATER to refresh us.
A Purposeful Life
Following our Good Shepherd, we are blessed with His LEADERSHIP. Jesus offers us PARTNERSHIP by being yoked with Him in God’s work. As we live in Him and His words remain in us, He promises FRUITFULNESS in bringing glory to God. Before He left this earth, Jesus also promised us the gift of His HOLY SPIRIT to be our Counselor and to guide us into all truth.
A Deeper Life
Jesus has given us the perfect example of SERVANTHOOD: He chose to leave His heavenly throne to be a humble servant, to share the essence of who God is. By sacrificing His life, He gave us the incomparably priceless gift of ETERNAL LIFE! Until the day we join Him in heaven, Jesus is continually giving us the gift of His INTERCESSION. He is our advocate before His Father’s throne.
Our Response for All These Gifts
With grateful hearts, we lift our praise and thanksgiving to God for sending His Son Jesus to earth to save us. Thank you, Jesus, for all these gifts as well! We offer our lives to You, Lord, as we strive to seek You and love You will all our heart, soul, and strength.
